Sprinkler InspectorAdvantage Interests Inc., an Eagle Fire owned company, is a leading provider of industrial fire protection, fire alarm, and fire & gas detection solutions serving commercial, industrial, energy, and hazardous environment applications throughout the Gulf Coast region.Backed by the strength and resources of Eagle Fire Inc., we continue to expand our fire protection services and are seeking a Sprinkler Inspector to join our Houston, Texas team.This is an exciting opportunity to work with a growing organization supporting commercial and industrial customers through inspection, testing, and maintenance of fire sprinkler systems and related fire protection equipment.Why Work With Us?In addition to competitive compensation and benefits, employees enjoy:$2,000 Employee Referral ProgramTuition ReimbursementNICET Test ReimbursementEmployee Assistance Program10 Paid HolidaysCareer Growth & Advancement OpportunitiesIndustry Training & DevelopmentLong-Term Stability with a Growing OrganizationPosition SummaryThe Sprinkler Inspector is responsible for performing inspections, testing, and documentation of fire sprinkler systems and related fire protection equipment in accordance with NFPA standards, local codes, and company procedures.This role works closely with customers, service personnel, and operations teams to ensure systems are properly inspected, deficiencies are identified, and reports are completed accurately and professionally.The ideal candidate will possess strong technical knowledge of fire sprinkler systems, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members.ResponsibilitiesPerform inspections and testing of fire sprinkler systems in accordance with NFPA standards and local codesInspect wet, dry, pre-action, deluge, and related fire protection systemsIdentify system deficiencies and recommend corrective actionsComplete inspection reports, documentation, and required paperwork accurately and timelyCommunicate inspection findings clearly with customers and internal teamsMaintain inspection schedules and assist with coordinating follow-up service needsEnsure compliance with company safety policies and customer site requirementsMaintain tools, equipment, and company vehicle in proper working conditionSupport service and repair activities as neededProvide professional customer service while representing the company at customer sitesQualificationsPreferred Education & ExperienceHigh school diploma or GED requiredExperience inspecting fire sprinkler systems preferredExperience in commercial and/or industrial fire protection environments preferredExperience with NFPA 25 inspection requirements preferredSkills & KnowledgeKnowledge of fire sprinkler systems and related inspection proceduresFamiliarity with NFPA standards and local fire codesAbility to read and interpret blueprints and technical documentsStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to work independently and manage time effectivelyGood verbal and written communication skillsBasic computer and mobile device proficiency for reporting and documentationPreferred CertificationsNICET Certification in Water-Based Systems preferredTexas Fire Sprinkler Inspector License preferred or ability to obtainIn compliance with the Drug-Free Workplace Act of 1988, we maintain a drug-free workplace and operate a Drug-Free Workplace program.
