About the Job

Huntington Learning Center in Downers Grove, IL is hiring tutors for K-12 instruction in Reading, Writing, or Math. We are looking for dedicated teachers to help our students reach a brighter future!

Candidates should possess the following qualities:

Responsibility and dependability.
Enthusiasm and flexibility.

Openness to working with students of various ages and levels.

Benefits:

No lesson plans to create or homework to grade.
Paid initial and ongoing training.
No more than 4-1 instruction.
Flexible schedules (4-20 hours per week).

Job Requirements:

Part-time evening and/or weekend availability.
College degree required.
Teaching certification required; Type 09 teaching certification is a plus

Experience:

Relevant: 1 year (Preferred).
Teaching: 1 year (Preferred).

Job Responsibilities:

Responsibilities include, teaching students, implementing curriculum, communicating student needs to full-time staff, and creating a positive, supportive and interactive environment for our students.
We offer paid initial and ongoing training in Huntington teaching methods and our highly developed curriculum.
There are no lesson plans to create or homework to grade.
Compensation is between $17.50 -$19.00 per hour based on experience and the level of subject matter instructed.

Hours:

Monday to Thursday. 3\4 PM to 8 PM.
Saturdays 9 AM to 3 PM.
